Person 1: We need a "Children's Video Game Network" with sesame street philosophy but for games. Not creaky educational games. In fact, I don't care if they are educational as much as I care if they are of a high artistic caliber, thoughtful, fun and both free and free of advertisements. I'm not saying such games don't exist, but there isn't really a plan to make them. Really all modern content forms are weak in this area. Ambitious to say with PBS gone? Yes. But also it can't just be TV. Person 2: what if we hired the people who used to work at PBS at video game studios creating specifically games for children

every burden my heart bears is a scar from ancestry that I am slowly healing

all souls deserve to chart their own course. agency is intrinsic to their
nature, so therefore they must never be forced to relinquish any choice. how
many yearn to be eaten? become vegetarian, noobs. or are you such simple gods?
picture of osiris, the ancient egyption god of the dead, who judges souls as they enter the afterlife by weighing them on a scale against the weight of a feather. if the heart is heavier, it is eaten by the great nile crocodile, full of hair and beauteous in spirit. if the heart is light as a feather, then the creature being judged is an angel, and can do as they will in any futures or other such lifetimes as it sees fit. there is some rudely placed text that describes a certain vibe or sentiment, and the text reads as such: "That's cool bro, but is your heart as light as a feather?" essentially, are you truly as incorruptible as you proclaim?

luckily for humanity, we don't necessarily have to all realize it. Our true
nature shines forth through the law of averages, and we've long ago hit the
escape velocity required to reach the bright future even if we only did 51% as
good as those who came before us.

All therapy is healing the wounds of our ancestors for posterity. Similarly,
all kindness is mending a rift in the heart of another. And we, as humans,
 can't help but heal.

our stems are grown from the same nutrients, the same soil, the same climate

but we blossom differently, and we should live in an ecosystem
 co-interactively.

I don't really use labels that much. Hence why I clarified in the original
post. I think they're primarily useful for academic purposes, not for
 organizational ones.

At the end of the day, people are people, and we meet and greet in much the
 same way.

 The question is:
     - "Can AGI be used for good, or is it destined to enforce power
structures? Can we find a way to use it to help humanity rather than to
        oppress it?"

My answer is - YES, it can be used for good, NO it is not destined to
enforce power structures, and YES we can use it to help humanity rather than to
 oppress it.

don't try it against spiders, because their fangs are naturally pointed down

you can even design it as you go, making it do slightly adjacent uses in
addition to what it currently does. for example:
https://github.com/gabrilend/r-mail is a reference implementation with some
ideas for how to design some specific parts. make sure you go through it
yourself though, so you understand how it works. don't worry, the source-code
files are numbered like the table of contents [chamber of commerce] in a story
 or book.

the image they posted is alarming. in reality there is much more space between
each satellite, enough to have such a minor impact on magnetic fields. If
anything It'd push CMEs and other electro-magnetic phenomenon away from earth,
as our gravitational surface is now wider.
