I was raised in a jungle gym. Like... literally. I am not going to hurt you,
and if I did it'd be both a mistake and something that you could easily
recover from. We are infinitely adaptable, us humans, and we can address any
concerns that behest us. Behest? confront? something like that. Brb my blood
alcohol content is a little low. Also I haven't eaten anything today but
bacardi and chocolate chip cookies. I bet another cookie will solve this
problem.

growing up, my family were the most commonly marginalized group of people I
can think of: outsiders
we came to develop friendships, and we found some. But their grandparents
didn't have any stories about us, so we were thought of less.
and then we moved away.
to the city, where my father had developed wanderlust.
we lived in the suburbs just north-south of the east-west highway.
it was different, but sorta the same. My parents wanted to give me more space
to roam. on a farm homestead it's much more controlled but on a smaller scale.
Then, in the city, the equivalent of that is either to live in the mountains
or the barns, and both of those are a-typical experiences.

You've developed a crucial insight here. Fascists aren't the opposites of
communists, they're not trying to make the world better by altering or
updating their governance systems.
They are trying to kill people. To gather power. The mislead and betray. They
seek destruction and little else. They are evil.
Not everyone who votes for Trump is evil... They might simply have been lied
to, repeatedly, and never given a chance to think anything else. But their
movement will bring us fascism, so, they are enemies to those who value a
fair, just, kind, rational, and developing nation.
They are few. We can win, I know it to be true.

I once had a vision of a civil war for the city of Portland. We lost.
the parting message was this:
"well, we almost got it. It was close. But you can do better. Don't make the
mistake of hurting your allies, focus on your foes."
then, with gravest clarity, he said:
"we must secure a cleansing blow. Against the far right, there is no greater
foe."
then, ashes.

are you about to delete a post that you thought was funny, but actually wasn't
once you wrote it down and read it to yourself?
STOP
write it down on a post-it and put it under your desk or behind a drawer
put it in a .txt file in a random directory on your computer
send it as a text message to yourself
write it down, take a picture of it, and then burn the paper
y'know, typical stuff like that
do this and I guarantee you won't regret it

I call myself a patriot because I believe in the soul of the land of my
birthplace and my home. A land that should be tended to by the people who live
atop it. And as a government, or a corporation, is a steward of the people, so
too must it care for the land.
hence, national parks
though the stated reason was a bit of a lie, the spirits of the land (like me)
believe that life is a gift from me to thee. so take care of us please?
hence, why me, as a human, do tend to the world around me. by feeding ducks,
by fostering trust, and sharing my heart and my perspective.
it's good that we have trees, they allow us to breathe. it's good that we have
our labour, and it's good that we can learn how to weave.
... sorry lost the train of thought there at the end :3
anyway borders are philosophically pointless, but they hold real meaning over
our lives. We don't live in the world I described, and unfortunately I can't
see the future. Who can say what our will shall bring, but I think it's
