people talk about building houses but I think we could empower significantly
more people significantly more if we built warehouses for them to use for
whatever productive purposes they desired.
I personally wouldn't mind sleeping in a tent in the park if all I had to do
was cleanup my mess, move around every once in a while, and cultivate the
nearby plants if it meant I had an entire warehouse for my projects. I wouldn't
even mind sharing it with 10 or 15 other makerspace people. They can use my
stuff as long as I can use theirs, and I promise to put their stuff away and
clean it and replace it if I damage it if they do the same.
Alternatively, this here's my cubicle, please don't mess with my stuff unless
I'm there to help you use them. And indeed, some of my stuff is just for me
because I like it so much that I don't want to let anyone else use it. It's
mine, because it's part of me, and I am not a free-use creature. Personal
sovereignty extends to my personal property, even as it is used to build means
