I believe this will cause people to develop a more consistent and personal attachment to the people around them, thus developing social solidarity and unity. however, should enough time pass, perhaps the people of Georgia should feel that they no longer identify as the same nation as the people of Spokane. This would eventually lead to the dissolution of our great nation, and I do not believe that's necessarily a good thing.
