There are 6 ants that live in the potted plant on my windowsil.
They don't have a queen. I know because if they did, there'd be more of them.
I like to watch them walk around and tap things with their feelers. I left a
big crumb for them so they have infinite food, and there's water they can
drink in a cup I feed the plant with.
Sometimes they crawl on me at night. There used to be 8 ants.
I'm probably just a giant eye to them. That's ok. I can be their giant eye
queen. I hope they stick around. I worry that they'll get depressed? They seem
lethargic these days.
I hope they'll be fine. What can I do for them? I am displaced in abstraction
layers. They are like ants to me.
I hope they'll be fine. They feel so far away, even though they are just right
nextdoor. They're just there, and sometimes I let them crawl over my fingers.
I always put them back though. I figure it's okay if they're confused
sometimes.
