A succession of tumblr, twitter, and other social media posts about the recently deceased administrator for FurAffinity.com from tumblr, by Fangymutt: "Dragoneer fucking died because the hospital fucked him over for a week like holy shit dude he literally stayed home because he was too broke and too sick to go back. regardless of your feelings on the dude that's so fucking grim how the US health system can just deny you a chance to live on a whim" official post from FurAffinity: "it is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden loss of FA's owner, @ Dragoneer. We ask for your patience and respect for his family's privacy. We remain committed to supporting each other and the community. We will keep you updated as we learn more. Thank you for your kindness." Fangymutt adds: This wasn't a joke, by the way - and then posts several Bluesky posts from Dragoneer: "Really? 1.6k JUST for a follow-up appointment with the pulmonologist? I mean, at least it's not 25k... again, but trying not to die in America is just absurdly expensive." then a picture of a message from UVA Health: "You have a new estimate. Your estimated responsibility for the visit on Sep 17 is 1590.40. Your expected prepay amount is 1590.40" then FangyMutt adds: This was the last thing he ever posted, mind you, this was on top of an INITIAL 25k charge.
