I'm an anarcho monarchist, which is something I just made up. │
if I gather 300 people to my cause, why shouldn't they call me queen? │
oh, are you concerned that I'll wrest power from the government? ha, what a │
trifling notion. I don't care about the government. I tried to care, but nobody │
liked my ideas. they required too much computing infrastructure to feasibly │
test, and that made people dubious. but I tell ya, it would have worked. The │
thing is... governance, economics, these are not the tools of power. they are a │
shifting and changing beast that mirrors the human instinct, if only because │
the government is of the people and by the people and for the people etcetera. │
power is it's own thing. you can use to to power devices, or power the usage of │
those devices. I, for example, really like World of Warcraft which's a really │
neat way to chat because none of the chat logs are stored and monitored because │
I'm hosting and I'm not storing and monitoring. │
what's that? official servers? I dunno, I use azerothcore │

movies tell you to seek out the most powerful guide when you start having
certain notions, when instead you should share what you know with people on
your level. "here's what I learned, here's what I know, here's the experiment,
 here's the "get-done"."

I wonder why someone hasn't yet written a "meta-package-manager" which
installed from many different sources and correctly configured each
installation to be able to efficiently find exactly where the requisite
libraries are installed, even if they're installed for a different system.
Then, when running, every time it encountered an error, it moved one more
dependency over to the native package manager until eventually everything is in
 order.

... or something like that, truth be told I'm a junior

if you attempt to dismantle capitalism, they'll contest you.

if you attempt to claim power, they'll show you how.

if you attempt to be exempt from proving [deserve-tion/desertion] you will be
viewed as an enemy, which is how they keep the productive in line.

I'd rather have 500 people sitting on the couch eating cheetos than 5 people in
 a trenchcoat doing 1500 AI's jobs.

if they don't need your labor, then they don't need you. universal basic income
 is necessary and basic.

socialism is when you know a guy who knows a guy who can install your washer
 and dryer.

communism is when she'll do it for free because she has everything that she
 needs.

what if we all shared zip files of all the websites we wanted to collectively
host and then you just added to things whenever the archiver wanted to update
their display of what you were saying on your website

"here's some html, throw it up on your server and post it around if you want"

"uh, but won't it be permanently the same? you won't be able to update it if
it's on my computer. also, it's against internet law to host the same thing
 with different urls"

"I don't think that second thing is true, but uh yeah that's the point. I can't
update it unless you ping me and ask for a new archive to unzip over the
 current."

"sounds like a lot of lame work for no good reason. why duplicate these things?"

"because it's like, 300mb and you'll have immortalized me as long as your
 server is alive."

"okay, fair, but I don't like the idea of a plain old boring website like yours"

"ouch rude I made it that way on purpose. if you actually cared you'd find out
 why."
