Sometimes people find local minima (or maxima!) and they need someone to say "hey wake the fuck up it's time to jam" and then you start playing the guitar in front of you because, well, it's a guitar, and just because you don't know how to play doesn't mean that the audience isn't expecting music. So you jam out some fake tunes and they cheer because they're all so hyped just to be there and hey wouldn't you know it the confidence is what sells. "slap the shit outta me" does NOT inspire confidence, MENARDI!
