every time I've tried to get a job for someone in the tech industry they turned
out to be a fed, so...

I do know people that you'd like to talk to, though. Just a few. That's all I
 personally can do.

 @user-883

you don't have to move somewhere to live out of a hotel for a week or two. It
 just costs money and time.

don't have money? don't have time? good, do what you can do where you are.

... you're somewhat of a special case though because of all the valuable
technology you have. Honestly you personally should work in a museum. I wonder
if there are retro computer enthusiast museums in Hillsboro, the capital of
semiconductor design? I bet someone there might have something for you to do.

best case scenario, we elect a lawyer working for capitalism, the kind of │
 society we live under. │
having money is the same as having resources. And resources allow you to apply │
yourself to a goal. The more you have, the better, but they each bear a heavy │
 load. │
Do you sacrifice your labor? your dignity, your honor? what do you burn on the │
fire of wasteful expenditures, just for the power to rent? │
I'm saying that if you don't have money, you need to think about what you can │
do with what you got, because that's how you pay for things, at least until we │
decide that we'd rather help each other than work on capital's games. │
you have a house though, right? a place to live until it gets hot? that's good │
enough for right now. Stay where you're at, do what you can to help. Get in the │
habit of it. Think about how someone will complete their task, and then think │
about stuff two or three steps down the road - what tools will they need? what │
are they working on next? Can make any of those availble? │

you can generally tell someone's voter status just by meeting them for a week
 or two.

I think the census should be ongoing, something everyone is required to do.

they can choose when to do it, but by allowing it to be updated whenever and
applied every four years, you get a clearer picture of the demands of the
 nation.

plus, it gives time to work and prepare. If all the results are public...
everyone can see who they are.

unless, of course, they're compelled to hide their beliefs by those in their
life who would compel and con[travene consent]

you can generally tell someone's voter status just by meeting them for a week or two. I think the census should be ongoing, something everyone is required to do. they can choose when to do it, but to alter their daily plans is unreasonable. Whatever the census takers need to come along will be provided for them. I think you could learn a lot about a population if you intended to measure the totality of it on a schedule. Specifically, every 4 years. so... a nation of bureaucrats, living alongside each and every home ... well, 52 population for each bureaucrat watching how they perform. and, well, there's a different one each weak, but honestly it's hard to keep them straight. Who did you say said I said that I said something I said? no? well, I don't think so. I remember being walked into the park... huh sounds like memory blackout, well better keep movin'. ... anyway it'd be a census consensual and sensual experience of governmental observation. "having an imitator" on a mass scale doesn't have to mean selling your soul for
 cash or acclaim.

it doesn't mean mean your reputation is tarnished, it just means your style is
 off mass renown.

the bravest bet is not how talented your skills are in kind

but rather how focused your attention,

all you'd have to do in order to divide a whole nation is keep your workers
 separated by class.

all classes are the same, just different in kind. all of them have whims,
fancies, thoughts of the mind. They're all wonderful people that all have
wonderful lives, and... we're just supposed to be here while they're destroying
their own lives. I can't understand why she won't just leave well enough alone
 - why must she insist on every fight we've un-yet atoned?

it was a long time ago. things around you have moved on. culture just goes too
fast for the average people who can't conceptualize warfare without using any
 guns.
