and hey throw in the idea that profit MUST be utilized to improve the operation
of the business somehow, because the wage of the employees IS the profit
including the wage of the shareholders, who are employees that contribute their
insight and collective will. (two tasks which frankly are much better suited to

people must still be valued for their old skills. they chose those skills for a
reason, and they must be rewarded for their persistent proficient passion.
if the new tools accomplish the same goal, perhaps it's a UI/X problem that
keeps them from using their old skills.
if the new tools do not accomplish the same goal, then the worker is not truly
obsolete. They are simply in the wrong job at the wrong time, but that's easy
enough to fix by simply putting them in the right job. It's always the right

democracy works best with a well-informed populace, and those who are against
democracy would do anything to make it harder to be "well-informed" - including
diluting the pool of candidates in order to make it harder to research them.
... Or maybe it was the first time and none of the candidates realized they'd
be running against so many people? I'm not sure, I'm on the other side of
forest park and I had at most 5ish options, and no ranked choice voting. : (
I think this might be one of the reasons political parties formed, way back in
the distant days of yore. Much easier to say "I agree with this group of people
so I'm voting for who they champion" than "I don't know how to pick between 30+

maybe the user could tell their client what fields to expect and how to present
them (like, a field called "memes" would be presented as a picture in this
panel, a field called "rants" would be passed to a word-cloud function that
extracts the most common 6+ letter words so you can tell at a glance what the
rant is about, this other field could be for calendar invites (plain text of
course, but interpreted by the calendar program) etc)
plus, if it's encrypted with PGP keys by default, there'd be few security
concerns. Unless your friend got hacked, or you got hacked, but, well... make
