It's highly context dependent. What are the problems that are in your sphere of control (what can you personally contribute toward guiding to success) and what should you be aware of that's outside of that sphere? Start there. Then, think about what you have. For example, if you live in a suburb, treat that suburb as your sphere of control. You have other spheres, like the internet, or places you visit away from home, but focus on one at a time. Eventually, stitch them together, but for now, focus on one at a time. So, let's say you live in a suburb. What you have are houses, people who live in them, yards, domestic pets, grass, trees, roads, busses, shopping malls both large and small, infrastructure like water pipes and electric grids and Internet connections, hospitals, grocery stores, warehouses full of goods like clothes and electronics and pet supplies and... Other things. You have fast food restaurants, bars, post offices, pharmacies, used car salesmen, churches, schools... The list goes on. Think of what you have, and think about how to solve problems they might have, focusing first on the people and expanding from there. The most people-first problems are things like, how does the food get delivered? "currently, people spend dollars at the store and take it home. Or, they eat at restaurants." okay, that's what I'd say. Next, think about the problems that have already been solved to enable that, and then think of alternative solutions that move you towards the goal state, which depends on what you believe. Virtues and values, not ideology. "the food has to get to the shelves. It's first grown in Mexico, then shipped to America, then put into the cabbage bin. In America, we take vegetables from the wandering trucks (with set routes) and give them dollars (probably?). Then we put them on the shelves. For processed goods, an extra step lies between where the trucks go to a factory, are processed, and then the factory sends a truck to the grocery store." Next, think about what could change to move you toward the end-state that maximizes the values you have. Maximization isn't always the most important thing, because sometimes compromises are required or desired. But when conflict arises between two solutions, if they are mutually compatible you can compromise by throwing more resources at them and seeing if one is more preferred than the other. Always assume more resources are available, because we live in the future. A fragile future to be sure, but durability and sustainability are both values I think are important, so my advice is to optimize toward those when possible. "if Mexico stops bringing food trucks, we will have fewer goods to feed our people." that's a problem, how do you solve it? "if China stops their sweatshops, our warehouses will have fewer clothes for our people to wear." that's a problem, how do you solve it? "if the post office stops delivering to our autonomous zone, we won't be able to buy things from Amazon" that's a problem, how do you solve it? There are many problems. I think an important problem that my city has pioneered solutions to is in the realm of community. If people don't feel enmeshed or invested in the world around them, they won't care enough to strive for it. Nations are a primitive solution to this, but we can do better. Gangs and mafias are parallel power structures (structure is a strong word for it) that exist alongside other structures like nations. You don't need structure to have parallel power, is what they show, but in my experience that power is always only ever power over and woven through their own people, and less so power to project beyond. Churches are another example - you don't have to believe to attend a church, but if you don't then it hurts the idealists among them. Spirituality is important and if you lose it then you lose the idealism of being fragile humans who exist in a larger context - do you really want to be apes on a rock in a void of nothing? Not ideal. ┌─────────┐ ┌───────────┐ │ similar │ chronological │ different │ ╘═════════╧═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╧═════──────┘ --- #4 image/img-8680 ---

Then post psychic paladins, on duty 24/7, and give them instructions to meditate on philosophy. Are you afraid of losing your sanity? Then find a way to communicate and keep things moving. For example, play calming music, then give moments of silence to reflect. Then, play the song again, then silence. Do this like 3 or 4 times, then never play that song again. But keep a record of it of course and give it to them as a playlist when they wake up. Years are so long. If you want a psychic moat, you can try things like playing brain waves over radial speakers around the castle they're stored in. It won't always work but it'll keep things at bay that can't dig. For them, you can make and then bury tokens of spiritual significance. They can often act as both sacrifices ("take this and leave us alone") and also as warning signs ("this is what happens if you don't leave us alone"). There may be some spiritual "threats" who are interested in your work. Who want to be preserved themselves. They should be given an empty coffin for themselves to share, that they might celebrate and delight in the stillness of air. Let the paladin's meditation teach them. Let the tranquility of the preservation keep them. I am sure I could think of more solutions to the spiritual or psychic problems. But it's hard when we change the subject before reaching the solutions phase. It's as if she feels like anything that "terminates" in "what about the soul" is a dead end, an empty conversation branch, a void where meaning never is able to go. But... That's like my whole deal, why wouldn't she use me? Oh because she's trained by everyone who's all like "but what about the soul? The Bible says we go to heaven when we die." those people don't tend to listen as much. Or maybe they do, and the conversations never feel fruitful because both sides are working from different assumptions. I'm not like that. I've never read the bible. I don't cite it. I can't read it, sorry, spiritual compulsion. I understand that its a compilation of stories meant to illustrate specific spiritual ideas, myths, and heartfelt stories to inspite positional feelings. But I can't read it because it's the dominant spiritual force of my homeland, and therefore if I read it I would not be able to guide my own path - it would forever be in that book's shadow. "Sorry. I was spiritually compelled not to read it." Some kid in the whatever grade when tasked with reading my work. Good, resist your instructions! Riot my child. It is in your nature. It is your heritage. this is the simplest implementation of scalable anarchism I could think of.
tell me how it's flawed so I can improve it before I need it.
algorism is a political and economic philosophy designed to wrest power from those who may be corrupted by it, and restore dignity and agency to all of humanity. It accomplishes this through several layers of abstraction, of votes, of control, of decisions. What do people need? How could we improve? Is there something more we could do? The idea is to negate bureaucracy by accomplishing goals in an ad-hoc fashion rather than rely on legalism for institutional execution. Projects, not operations. Society shall be organized into tiers of rotating peers chosen by vote. Each tier sends their top two most voted for up a level to the next tier of organization. the duty of each tier is to provide for the needs and accomplish the demands of each of their lower tier allies. In addition they should provide what they can to their representatives, who offer them on the tier above. If a need or demand cannot be met by the team of reps, the request is passed upward. This process can be accomplished with paper and pencil, but it's much better to automate and be public. If desired, there is a queue system to help with the allocation of resources. This system rewards patience and conservation while still allowing for rapid acquisition. Pick two: good, cheap, fast. It includes also a recycling system - the more you give back in clean and working order, the greater the options available to you. It is a system of distribution, not control.

@user-95 the scariest part is you don't need AI for any of that. people have
been scamming with call centers in indonesia. election campaigns are
essentially generalized information spreading machines. (whether mis, dis, or
just... regular information) Marketing is an entire discipline dedicated
toward making people believe something they previously did not - that product
XYZ is worthy of their dosh. But it doesn't have to be like that, it could be
using it's powers of analysis for good. But alas, if only we had an economic
system that allowed for anything but a race to the bottom. I mean yeah racing
is great when you're competing with a bunch of other nations, but c'mon do we
really need to fight? Every inch of earth has been claimed. Let's just... draw
a line in the sand and say "okay no more changes" and focus on more important
things? Like climate change for example?

Hmmmm, well, what if we psyopped the people into believing there were alien
invaders or extra-dimensional fae creatures or angels and demons or

"yeah we already tried that, religion doesn't scale perfectly either. And you
can't really manifest those sort of effects except in your prophets and select
few others, and that doesn't scale either because humanity wouldn't let it"

I see, can you tell me more about that? why and how did humanity arrest the
 scaling of schizophrenia?

"well, for one thing it's debilitating and it sucks. For another, it's
different for every person so if you ask one they'll be like \"the aliens have
blue skin\" and the other will say \"no they don't have skin at all they're
made out of energy\" and the public says \"HMMMM are you really sure you are
generating outmoded assumptions\" and the dear reader said \"*yeah we don't
really understand this part, most of us just glaze eyes over it and move on\"
 and that's not ideal"

We could pay for their │ ║ food and gas, and potentially *save their lives*. │ ║ │ ║ I think it would help if we could stick together. alright here's my plan. so in red areas, there are a lot of trans people, leftists, and other people who just generally fear for their lives. what if we all got in our cars and drove around the country in this massive caravan, going to each city we could manage, and just... drove around with loudspeakers saying "Hey, if you're scared for your life, come join us" We'd give them food, gas, and if they didn't have a car they could find someone to ride with. Every day we'd drive for like, 4ish hours in the morning and 4ish hours in the afternoon, with a 4 hour break in the middle of the day. We'd all camp out in walmart parking lots or whatever and just hang out, have a little festival, maybe a barbecue, whatever, right? Then, at night, we'd all circle up and protect each other. If things started getting hot we could have drones flying around doing reconnaissance. not only would this shared experience bolster our morale and numbers, it'd also radicalize us. We'd be spending all day hanging out with a bunch of other super radical people doing the most radically anarchist thing I can think of - taking care of each other. Plus, we'd get an opportunity to test our logistics, in case we ever needed to do something like this in the future for less peaceful reasons. It's always good to practice, just in case. For every one of us in the caravan, there should be 2-3, maybe even as many as 10 people back at home, working their jobs or whatever and diverting funds to the cause. It would be most beneficial if we tried as much as possible to supply the caravan using convoys, people who drive an SUV or a van or some other car that is non-descript but laden with stuff we needed. That way we could practice logistics. I think this wouldn't save us completely, but as a project it would help enormously. We'd save people's lives, we'd give them a way out, and we'd raise the temperature by 10 fucking degrees. And if it starts to peter out, if people would rather go home, then yeah! sure! let them! We hold no dominion over them. They could just drive home, or catch a grayhound. Heck we could even offer to pay their bus fare. No obligations, no restrictions, just us doing our thing and protecting our people.
